5/31 Washington County Event: A Flight/B Flight Split Adjustment

Golfers,
For those of you who like to know who you’re playing against please know we had one high handicapper drop out and one low handicapper take the open spot. Therefore, in order to keep the flights at an even 18 players per flight the A flight/B flight split has been adjusted.
  • A flight = handicap indexes below 11.5 (18 players)
  • B flight = handicap indexes above 11.5 (18 players)

Use the results tab to see who’s in which flights.

5/31 Washington County Event: Format, Flights, Pairings, Payouts, etc...

Golfers,
The deadline for registering for the Individual Stroke Play (NET) event at Washington County on 5/31 has passed and any unfilled tee times have been released. Looks like we have a pretty good turn-out for this event (36 players, 9 full tee times).
  • This will be a flighted event (look at the results tab on the event’s info page to see who is in which flight)
    • A flight = handicap indexes below 12.0 (18 players)
    • B flight = handicap indexes above 12.0 (18 players)
  • We’ll payout out the four lowest scores in each flight ($45, $35, $25 and $15)
  • Please visit the Washington County Event Information Page to see pairings, tee times, etc.. (expand the notes section for detail).
  • Both flights will play from the WHITE tees
  • There will be an optional gross skins game for anyone interested ($5/golfer, no carryovers and must be a birdie or better). Pay the envelope at the cashier.

Note: In an effort to keep pace of play level I’ve tried to mix A flighters with B flighters as possible (I’ve had a lot of special requests for this event so I’ve done what I can). Don’t worry about the group behind you, just keep up with the group in FRONT of you. Let’s show Washington County that Currie “The National” members know how to keep pace of play!

See you at the course!

UPDATE: Here is even some better news from the 1st Team Match this past Sunday. This puts us only 9 points behind Greenfield. (An entering error was discovered, this results in Greenfield getting nine less points and Whitnall getting nine more points).  See new totals:
