Club Event at Kettle Hills Golf Course - Results

Sunday's event at Kettle Hills was a 2-man net best ball.

Kurt Beronja shot a 77 and Jeff and Scott Brandt each shot 78's!! Great rounds on a tough golf course!!

Scott Brandt, Steve Jaeger, Kurt Beronja, Bryan Olen, Jeff Brandt and Bill Zolandz all shot under par net!! Nice!!

Event winners:
1st         S. Brandt/Garbers  -11     $80 team
2nd        Jones/Wolter  -8      $60
3rd        Bowring/Jaeger     -7      $40    
4th        Ferrera/Beronja    -6     $30

There was a 3-way tie at -5 so these 3 teams will split 5th place money of $20. So, I am guessing they will get $7 per team.

Cuthbert/Sauceda, J. Brandt/Zolandz and Evans III/Olen teams all finished at -5.

There were 6 skins on Sunday . . . Doug Bowring had 2 skins and Evans III, J. Brandt, Pederson and Beronja all had one skin each!!

Club Event at Rolling Meadows Golf Course - Results

Saturday at Rolling Meadows the course was in nice shape and it played tough!!

Only 2 players broke 80. John Dobroski and Dominic Carini both shot 79. Nice rounds boys!!

No net scores under par!!!

We played an individual net event.

There was a 3-way tie for first place, Mark Schreindl, Steve Amble and Chuck Garbers shot even par net and will each receive $50. Tied for 4th were Alton Weigley and Larry Dake at 1 over par and they will get $25 each. Dominic Carini was alone in 6th place and will receive $15. Tied for 7th place and receiving $5 each will be Jeff Brandt and Mark Cuthbert.

There were 8 skins on Saturday. John Dobroski and Steve Amble had 2 each and Pederson, Dake, Cuthbert and Garbers each had one skin!!

Club Event at Hartford Golf Club - Results

Gents,

In spite of the fact that Hartford got over an inch of rain on Friday night, the golf course and particularly the greens were in pretty nice shape. Because of the restrictions on carts there were of number of participants that had to withdraw from the event. As a result, what was originally going to be a flighted event was changed to a full field competition.

Bill Zolandz dominated the "dojo" with a total of 43 stableford points and a net score of 65. Way to go Bill!! Doug Schafer also had a nice performance with 40 points followed by Scott Brandt at 38. Honor scores were turned in by Chuck Silkey with a 74, John Dobroski and Mike O'Neil with 77's and Scott Brandt with a 79. $30 skins were won by Levin, Dobroski, Silkey and Fenzl.

Event Payouts: 1st, $60 Bill Zolandz, 2nd, Doug Schafer $50, 3rd, Scott Brandt $40, T4th, Mark Schreindl, Brian Pederson and John Hirsch $22ea. T7th, Phil Levin, Steve Jaeger $5ea.

Hello boys,

Well, the weather cooperated but it was not a nice day at all!! Mist, rain, a bit of sun, wind, clouds most of the day . . . We had quite a weather day!!

The course was in pretty nice shape considering all the rain we've had!!

Most of us were looking forward to the Irish 4-ball event but that had to change because of a few no shows!!

We split the field and had a flighted individual net event!!

2 nice gross scores were shot by Mike O'Neil (73) and Scott Brandt (79).

Club Event at West Bend Lakes Golf Club - Results

Hello boys,

Not a pretty day to play golf. But the golfers who started all finished!!! The greens rolled great but the back nine got a little wet!!

There were some really good scores on an ugly day!!

Chuck Silkey and Dave Ullenberg both shot 77 gross and Jeff Camosy shot -3 net!! Nice job fellas!!

A beautiful day for golf!!

Thank you Jeff Camosy for handling my duties on Saturday!!!

And some good scores went along with the beautiful day. 3 golfers broke 80 scratch . . . Jake Boulware shot 77 and Brian Pederson and Dave Ullenberg each shot 79!! Great golfing boys!!

3 golfers also shot under par net . . . Briand Pederson was -4 net and Ken Collins and Rich Saks were -1 net!! Once again great scores!!

The event for the day was a flighted net event. We split the field in half and had an A Flight and a B Flight.

Nice day, a little windy and the course was a touch wet!! But all in all a good day.

There were a few really nice scores:

New member Dan Seiter shot -7 net and Doug Schafer shot -5 net. Only one golfer broke 80 gross, Mike O'Neil shot 79.

Jeff Camosy, John Hirsch and Scott Brandt all shot net under par scores also!!

Beautiful day and the course was in great shape for the beginning of May!!

There was some good golf going on too!!

Jeff Camosy shot 5 under par net and Steve Wolter shot a gross 76.
John Hirsch, Alton Weigley and Wayne Suess all shot under par net!!
Jeff Kapp, Dominic Carini and Jeff Brandt shot gross 78's!!


Great individual efforts but the event of the day was a 2 Man Net Best Ball!!

We had a 3 way tie for first place:

Glen Barkow and Jeff Camosy        -7
Alton Weigley and Steve Jaeger      -7

Each first place team receives $60!!

Fourth place was Darrell Frenzel and Bill Zolandz at -6!! The team will receive $30.

A beautiful day helped turn in some nice scores!!

Sunday at Rolling Meadows in Fond Du Lac the weather was a bit chilly but the course was in very nice shape!!

We played an individual Stableford event and Rob Sweeney walked away the win!! He shot 79 gross, -2 net and birdied all 4 of the par fives!! Nice job!!!

No one else finished under par net but there were 2 other nice gross scores. John Dobroski and Steve Wolter each shot 77's.

We had 2 guys drop out that morning with injuries!! I hope things are OK with them!!

Thanks to Scott Brandt for showing up and filling one of those spots at the last minute and letting me know about a scoring discrepancy. That discrepancy changed the skins outcome. There were only 6 skins not 7!! Golfers that won skins were Eric Scheindl, Corey Mader, Dominic Carini, Ken Collins, Doug Schafer and Glen Barkow. Congrats boys. And if your last name is Collins, Barkow, or Schafer I still owe you a few bucks!!!!

We have to, as a club, make more of an effort to keep up with the group in front of us or at least be vigilant of our pace of play. Thank you!!

Club Event at Wanaki Golf Course - Results

Hello gents,

40 CPMC members showed up on Sunday to play Wanaki and a fun 4 man event!!! Greens were a tad slow but all of us got thru it!!!!

The winners of the Irish Four Ball event were:
Doug Schafer, Harry Markos, Henry Mayer and Steve Wolter who shot 15 under par.

Second place at 12 under par was the team of Jesse Alba, John Dobroski, Steve Amble and Steve Satula.

Third place at 9 under par was the team of Bryan Olen, Scott Brandt, Mark Cuthbert and Tom Condella.

Team payouts are $120 for 1st place , $60 for 2nd place and $40 for 3rd place.
