Well, we got the first round in!!
Mother nature took over and we did not have a second day. Hopefully our home course recovers from her wrath!!!
Course was in nice shape. Roughs were thick, greens were nice and Currie showed its teeth!! Well for some of us!!
Some really nice rounds were played!!
Our new Club Champion, Chuck Silkey, shot a 3 over round of 74!!
Congrats to Chuck on getting the Club Championship after losing the last 2 years in playoffs!!
Dominic Carini, Jake Boulware and Scott Brandt shot 77's and Eric Schreindl shot 78. Nice job!!
Champ Flight winner, Chuck Silkey, will get $70 and a plaque, Dominic and Jake will each receive $40 for their 2nd place tie and Eric will get $20 for his 4th place finish.
A Flight winner, Scott Brandt will also get $70 and a plaque. Rob Sweeney and Mark Cuthbert will receive $40 each for their 2nd place tie and Rufus Evans and Phil Levin will each get $10 with their 4th place tie.
In B Flight, Doug Schafer shot his best round ever at Currie and took first place and will receive $70 and a plaque. Alton Weigley took 2nd place and will get $50. Tied for 3rd were John Hirsch, Gerry McGrath and Tom Condella. They will split $50.
C Flight had a tie for first place. Both shooting -1 net were Ben Sevener and Bill Zolandz. They will each get $60 and a plaque. Chuck Garbers took third and will receive $30. Tied for 4th were Johnny Torch, Jim Sauceda and Corion Jones. They will split 4th place monies of $20.
There were 7 skins on the day. Eric Schreindl had 2 and Jeff Brandt, Steve Wolter, Jake Boulware, John Hirsch and Rob Sweeney all had one skin apiece. They were worth $25 each.
