Club Event at Blackstone Creek Golf Club - Results
It was an overcast day at Blackstone and the greens had a lot of dew when we first started. But it cleared up later in the day and the greens dried up and were very nice to putt on!!
Some real nice rounds were played!!
John Dobroski shot 74 gross , Jeff Brandt 75, Mark Cuthbert 77, Phil Levin 78, and Daniel Pung 79!! Nice shootin'!!
Brandt was -7 net, Jeffrey Langlois -6, Dicky Baker and Jim Dawson were at -4, Jim Sauceda was -2 and Levin, Cuthbert and Jack Bruss were at -1!!
The event for the day was a 2-Man Net Best Ball team event.
That was won by the team of Dawson and Brandt, shooting 11 under par, they will split the $80 first place winnings. 2nd place at 10 under was the team of Jeffrey Langlois and Pete Tarantino. They will split $60. A 3rd place tie, at 9 under, were the teams of Cuthbert and Bill Zolandz and the team of Sauceda and Levin. Each team will split $35. And a 4-way tie for 5th place and each team splitting $5 were the teams of Dobroski and Alton Weigley, Doug Bowring and Glen Barkow, Baker and Wolter and Mark Schreindl and his blind partner!!!
There were 8 skins on the day, 2 each for Bowring and Dobroski, 1 each for Jackie Wu, Brandt, Steve Jaeger and Wolter.

Club Championship at Currie Park Golf Course - Results
What a weekend!!! Beautiful day on Saturday and very iffy day on Sunday but we got er' done!!
Congrats to this year's Club Champion, Dominic Carini, who shot 72 Saturday and 77 on Sunday!! Not bad for guy who is 76 years old!!!!!
Also, congrats to our Flight winners. Kurt Beronja won A Flight, John Hirsch won B Flight and Ben Sevener won C Flight. Great job boys!!!
The top 4 places in each Flight will get paid. $70 for first, $50 for second, $30 for third and $20 for fourth.
Champ Flight was won by Carini, 2nd place was Dave Ullenberg, 3rd place was Mike O'Neil was 3rd and Jeff Kapp and Corey Mader tied for 4th.
A Flight winner was Beronja, Jeff Brandt and Steve Jaeger tied for second and Tom Condella took 4th place.
B Flight was won by Hirsch, 2nd place was Ryan Thompson and Jack Bruss and Doug Bowring tied for 3rd.
C Flgiht was won by Sevener, Bill Zolandz took 2nd, Jeff Camosy took 3rd and Gary Zwirlein took 4th.
Carini won 2 skins on Saturday as did Chuck Silkey. Ullenberg, Mader and Eric Schreindl each had one skin!!
On Sunday Carini had another skin along with Wayne Seuss, Darrell Frenzel and Jeff Kapp.

I want to thank Corey Mader for helping me with scoring on Saturday and Jim Sauceda and Bill Zolandz for handling scoring duties while the VP was out on the golf course on Sunday!!
I want to thank everyone on Sunday for the way you all handled the rain delay on Sunday. Nic Dooley did a great job getting everyone in after the first sign of lightning and getting us back out on the course when it was safe and making sure the course was playable for us!! And you boys were great getting back out there very quickly and finishing the round!!
