Club Event at Currie Park Golf Course - Results

Hello gents,

The course was wet. With no carts. Course played long and it was it was a little rough in spots. But the greens rolled nicely!! And it was a beautiful day.

We only lost 4 golfers because of the wet conditions. So, we changed the format to a 1-man scramble at the last minute because of that. And split the field into 3 flights.

There were some nice scores. Steve Wolter shot a 2 under round of 69 in A Flight, Rob Sweeney shot an even par 71 in B Flight and Doug Bowring shot a 77 to win C Flight.

2nd place in A Flight was John Dobroski shooting 71 and Mike O'Neil shot 72 to take 3rd place.

In B Flight there was a tie for 2nd place, Rufus Evens and Scott Brandt, with both golfers shooting 72.

Doug Schafer shot 78 to take 2nd place in C Flight and Jeremy Jones and Jim Sauceda tied for 3rd place with both them shooting 80.

Congrats to all!!!

We had some rainy weather this year but we made it thru!! Courses played longer and tougher because of the rain!! With the rough being very thick!!

But, hope you all had a fun CPMC season!!

Signing off for the year,
