Club Championship Results

Currie Men's Club Competitors,

In spite of some severe weather earlier in the week, we were treated to one of the most beautiful weekends of the summer to hold our club championship. Although the weather was benign, Currie National was not. With many of the tees pushed back, along with some tough pin placements, the National showed it's teeth. There were those, however, that were up to the challenge. The C Flight was once again won by Jeff Camosy and also once again in a playoff, this time with Jim Sauceda. The B Flight was won by Tom Condella, also in a playoff, with long ball Robert Sweeney. The A flight was dominated by Scott Brandt who led his flight by 5 shots. The Champion golfer of the year, the winner of our Championship Flight, was Dave Ullenberg who took command with a pair of 75's. Nice work, Dave! Congratulations to all of the winners. We are paying off the top 4 finishers in each flight. Congrats to all those who cashed in with some fine performances. The payouts along with the skins and hole prize winners are listed below. Thanks to head pro Scott Walecki and assistant Ben Ciha who did an exceptional job of running our event and tracking all of the results. Well done, Ben. We appreciate it. I hope everybody enjoyed the weekend.
