Evergreen Participants & Currie Men's Club,
Thanks to everybody that participated in today's 27 hole 4-man team event at Evergreen Golf Course. I thought the golf course, particularly the fairways, were in really nice condition. Also, for a 27 hole event I thought the overall pace of play was quite good. Because this was a new format for us I'm not quite sure how to assess the scoring. Needless to say, however, there was some fine scores turned in and some great golf played. Congrats to the winners. Top finishers and payouts are as follows:
1st Bruss/Lapp/Pederson/Olen -37 $30ea.
2nd Barkow/Garbers/Bowring/Draw -33 $20ea.
3rd Alba/Collins/Cuthbert/Feldner --26 $10ea.
$15 skins were won by Bunkers, Sweeney, Garbers, Pederson (2), Bruss and Collins. Top low gross finishers for the 27 holes were Levin (+9) Jaeger (+12) and Pedersen (+13). Also thank you to Steve Jaeger for the rum and coke and keeping my head on straight while getting all the scoring entered. Thanks to Jeff Camosy for all the help last week when I was without a computer and this week for all the time spent helping me set up the format for this event.
